JOL LITHIUM PROJECT
Foremost Lithium announced in June 2022, that it acquired an additional 62 acres/25 hectare land parcel situated due north from the Jean Lake project due west of Zoro project.
FUTURE PLANS
The Company plans to explore for lithium-bearing pegmatites. It will maintain its methodical approach to the exploration for additional lithium-bearing pegmatites including:
- First pass prospecting of outcrop
- EarthEx Drone-Assisted Magnetic Survey. This is the identical technology the Company recently applied to the Jean Lake property to define the 3D extent and magnetic signature of the high-grade spodumene-bearing Beryl pegmatite dykes. Ground truthing of UAV-defined magnetic anomalies.
- Surficial geochemical surveys including Mobile Metal Ions Technology. MMI Technology is the same soil geochemical technology utilized by Foremost on the Zoro property to delineate new drill targets and discover high-grade spodumene-bearing Dyke 8
Lithium hydroxide is a strategic battery mineral mainly consumed in the production of cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries. Lithium-based batteries power our daily use of consumer electronics, enable the electrification of the transportation sector, and provide stationary grid storage, critical to developing a clean-energy economy. Foremost Lithium is committed to the production of battery-grade lithium hydroxide domestically and will continue to strive towards a carbon neutral environment.
